What’s CrossFit Class?
Warm up – We start the class with a specific warm up to help you get loose, get your heart rate up, and get you prepared to tackle part 2 of class.
Strength/Skill– This is the portion of class where we work on our strength and skills. This could be anything from Olympic lifts like clean and snatch, major lifts like the back squat and deadlift, or gymnastic movements such as pull ups and hand stand push-ups. It gives us a chance to develop our strength and skills in a safe and controlled environment.
WOD – Here’s the fun part! Our Workout of the Day (WOD). The WOD is where we mix weightlifting, gymnastics, and cardio in as many different interesting combinations as possible to give you an incredible workout. Every workout is different and unique in how it challenges you. A coach will work with you on how to tailor the weights and movements of the WOD to your abilities and make sure you get the absolute best workout possible. Workouts can be anywhere from 5 to 30+ minutes in duration.
